Acute Calculator ("Acute", "the app") is made by Find App, Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and why. The short version: your calculations stay on your device, and we don't track you.

Information that stays on your device

Your expressions, history, variables, and settings are stored locally on your device. We don't collect, upload, or have access to them.

Information we receive

Student discount requests

If you request a student discount, the app sends the email address you enter to our server so we can verify it belongs to an educational institution and issue a code. We use this email only to process your discount request and to prevent abuse of discount codes. We don't use it for marketing and we don't sell it.

Promo codes

If you redeem a promo code, the app sends the code to our server to check that it's valid and to mark it as used.

Emails you send us

If you contact us for support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use it only to respond to you.

Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We don't receive your payment details. Apple's handling of your information is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.

Analytics and advertising

Acute contains no ads, no third-party analytics, and no tracking. We don't share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Children

Acute is suitable for all ages and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Deleting your information

Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. To ask us to delete a student discount email or support correspondence, email andrew@acutecalc.app.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
